About Us
TNT Roofing is your trusted residential roofing company located in Holland, Michigan, with over 30 years of experience providing quality roof installations, replacements, and repairs using premium materials and expert craftsmanship.
Our Story
TNT Roofing is a family-owned business that has served the Holland community since 1992. It all began in 1991 when brothers Mike (working in construction) and Art Tolsma (a mechanic) started taking on roofing jobs together during nights and weekends. Within a year, they made it official, establishing Tolsma-N-Tolsma (TNT) Roofing.
After three decades of dedication to TNT Roofing, Mike retired at the end of 2021. Today, Art continues in the office while the next generation of TNT—Ryan Tolsma, Spencer Langeland, Jon Uitvlugt, and Nolan Langeland—have taken on leadership roles, ensuring TNT Roofing will continue to serve our community for many years to come.
As winners of Holland’s Best of the Best award every year since 2016 and certified CertainTeed Master Craftsmen, we’ve built our reputation on exceptional workmanship and unwavering integrity. What truly sets us apart is our commitment to having a TNT owner on every job site and our policy of never using subcontractors.
Community Commitment
At TNT Roofing, we are proud to be an active member of the Holland community, and we are deeply committed to giving back.
For over 25 years, we have partnered with Habitat for Humanity, providing roofing materials through our partnerships with GAF and CertainTeed. With the donations of these materials and our labor, every home built by Lakeshore Habitat is provided a roof at no cost to the families in need.
In addition to our work with Habitat for Humanity, TNT Roofing is happy to support local churches, schools, events and organizations throughout the year with donations and volunteer efforts.
You may spot our co-founder and President, Art, serving as a town crier at various local events including the Tulip Time Parade, St. Patrick’s Day Parade, the Saugatuck Town Crier Run, and the Labor Day Bridgewalk.
Art and his wife, Tonya, have been involved with Bethany Christian Services for over 20 years, first through foster care and later through the adoption of two of their children. Rich Gritter, the Michigan Director of Donor Engagement at Bethany Christian Services, and author of The Pirate’s Pajamas, has dedicated his book’s proceeds to funding essential counseling for children in the foster care system. The pirate character in the book is based on Art, and on occasion, you’ll see Art—dressed in pirate pajamas—reading to kids in the community.
